Job Purpose
The HR Manager will oversee and manage all human resource functions for a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in factory HR operations, talent development and recruitment, and labour union relations. The role requires a proactive individual capable of building effective HR systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company’s workforce strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Factory HR Management
Manage end-to-end HR operations within the factory environment.
Ensure full compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, and health & safety standards.
Oversee workforce planning, time & attendance, shift scheduling, overtime control, and employee discipline.
Manage daily workers’ processes including recruitment, allocation, performance monitoring, and payment coordination.
Lead grievance handling, conflict resolution, and employee engagement activities within the factory.
2. Talent Development & Recruitment
Lead the recruitment process for direct employees and daily-rated workers.
Build a strong talent pipeline for technical, operational, and administrative roles.
Conduct orientation, onboarding, and career development programs.
Implement training strategies to enhance skills, performance, and leadership abilities.
Support the management team with succession planning and performance improvement strategies.
3. Labour Union Relations
Manage all interactions with labour unions in a professional and compliant manner.
Support management during negotiations, meetings, and collective bargaining discussions.
Ensure timely resolution of union-related issues while maintaining a positive employer–union relationship.
Advise management on labour union policies, risks, and compliance obligations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to factory/industrial HR management.
Proven experience working with labour unions and managing union negotiations.
Strong background in recruitment, talent development, and workforce planning.
Good knowledge of Ghana Labour Act and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

SALARY : Ghc 9,000 - Ghc 10,000. open for discussion.
