Description
The HR Officer will support the Human Resources department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role involves collaborating with staff and management to ensure effective HR practices and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening applications, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new employees, including orientation and training programs.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Support initiatives that promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
- Assist in implementing performance management systems, including setting up evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
- Help manage employee performance issues and support development plans.
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as contracts, leave requests, and terminations.
- Monitor and manage HR systems and databases.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, including those related to employment, safety, and benefits.
- Prepare reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Assist in audits and compliance checks.
Training and Development:
- Support the planning and execution of training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and recommend resources for skill enhancement.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives as required.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
