Description
- Develop financial reports to assist decision making in the Institute
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Institute’s financial management and administration
- Keep and maintain adequate and correct accounts of all transactions, including accounts of assets, liabilities, receipts and disbursements, etc. and render financial advice to Management.
- Formulate budgetary and accounting policies
- Examine operating costs and the income and expenditure and advice
- Advise on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems
- Appraise and advise on cash flow and financial risk of capital investment projects
- Ensure that effective and efficient internal controls and procedures are in place and adhered to by all
- Ensure the effective functioning of the day to day operations of the Accounts Department
