Role Purpose

The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Company, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, compliance with financial regulations, and effective management of accounts payable, receivable, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management
  
  
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger per business unit
  
  
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  
  
  • Monitor cash inflows & outflows using Odoo Accounting dashboard.
  
  
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of Cash, MoMo, POS, Bank accounts
  
  
  • Track inventory valuation and stock movement daily to prevent losses or pilfering.
  
  
  • Ensure; proper chart of accounts per business, correct cost allocation across departments and accurate recording of imports, clearing costs, and landed costs
  
  
  
  


• Compliance & Controls
  
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.
  
  
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  
  
  • Liaise with External auditors during audits periods.
  
  
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails within Odoo.
  
  
  
  

• Reporting
  
  
  • Produce daily financial dashboards (summary view) and weekly performance reports
  
  
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
  
  
  • Ensure inter-company transactions are properly recorded
  
  
  • Provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
  
  
  • Present financial insights to support strategic decisions.
