Nathawo properties & Investment Ltd is a trusted leader in infrastructure and road construction, delivering high-quality projects across the country. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Earthwork Foreman to oversee and manage earthwork operations for our road construction projects.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate earthwork activities, including excavation, grading, compaction, and site preparation.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks, allocate resources, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and equipment.
• Monitor project progress to ensure earthwork activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Inspect and assess ground conditions, materials, and equipment to ensure quality and safety.
• Direct and manage earthwork crews, including equipment operators and laborers, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address challenges and ensure smooth execution of work.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, equipment usage, and project progress.
• Identify and address potential risks, delays, or quality issues on-site.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of heavy equipment used in earthwork operations.
Qualifications:
• 5 Years Proven experience as an Earthwork Foreman or similar supervisory role in road construction.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork processes, techniques, and equipment (e.g., bulldozers, graders, excavators, compactors).
• Familiarity with construction drawings, grading plans, and project specifications.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to earthworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working on large-scale road construction projects.
• Knowledge of modern construction technologies and equipment.
• Proficiency in basic reporting and documentation tools.
