About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to oversee and manage daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities.
• Manage and lead a team of workers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
• Read and interpret drawings, and project specifications.
• Allocate resources such as labor, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project timelines.
• Conduct daily site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Resolve any on-site issues and escalate problems to management as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, progress, and materials used.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• HND / CTC I
• 3 - 5 years experience
