Job Summary

The Transport Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating all transport and fleet-related activities to support the effective delivery of security operations. This includes vehicle allocation, maintenance, fuel management, and driver supervision.

In the private security industry, the role is critical in ensuring timely deployment of security personnel, patrol operations, emergency response, and logistics support across multiple client locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport operations to ensure timely deployment of security personnel and supervisors.


• Manage the company’s fleet, including vehicles, motorbikes, and other transport assets.


• Monitor vehicle usage, movement, and allocation across operational sites.


• Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and roadworthy at all times.


• Track fuel consumption and implement controls to prevent misuse or wastage.


• Supervise drivers and ensure adherence to company policies and road safety regulations.


• Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, repairs, insurance, and licensing.


• Respond to transport-related emergencies and breakdowns promptly.


• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.


• Investigate and report on vehicle accidents, damages, or misuse.


• Liaise with vendors for vehicle servicing, repairs, and procurement of spare parts.


• Support logistics planning for special operations and assignments.
