Job Summary
The AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The role involves troubleshooting faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems (split units, central systems, chillers, etc.)
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient system operation
Monitor and maintain refrigerant levels and handle refrigerants safely
Clean and replace filters, coils, and other system components
Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports
Coordinate with other maintenance team members and external contractors when required
Advise management on system upgrades or replacements where necessary
