JOB PURPOSE:

To oversee the real-time tracking of VPL’s fleet, optimize routes, and promptly report any delivery challenges to minimize disruptions.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor the movement and location of trucks in real-time using GPS systems.


• Ensure trucks adhere to designated routes, schedules, and delivery timelines.


• Identify and report any route deviations or delays immediately.


• Keep stakeholders informed about the status of deliveries.


• Prepare daily reports on truck performance and fuel issued to the trucks.


• Maintain accurate delivery logs, incidents, and downtime records.


• Ensure drivers comply with company policies, safety regulations, and road laws.


• Monitor driver behavior and report any violations or safety concerns.
