Description
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to KFC restaurants and corporate staff. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring that all technology functions effectively to support restaurant operations.
- Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues, including POS systems, computers, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems via phone, email, or in-person support.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of IT equipment and software.
- Monitor and maintain network performance and security, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Update and manage IT documentation and manuals for staff use.
- Work closely with restaurant management to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
