Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in the installation, application, maintenance, and servicing of water treatment equipment on mining sites is required.
Work experience in gold, copper, or TTC mining sites is an added advantage.
Should be self-driven, customer-focused on meeting expectations, a team player, and have passion to achieve results under minimum supervision.
Must possess great interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with a true service attitude.
Able to demonstrate ability to work across different cultures and functions internally and externally.
Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory
Must be located in Ghana, Ivory Coast, or Senegal, with a willingness to travel within the West Africa region.
Flexible to work on shifts of additional hours depending on project or operational requirements and client-specific regulations.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Should have working knowledge in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Description
Our client who is a leading global specialised chemical manufacturer for water-intensive, energy, mining, oil and gas, biorefining industries requires an experienced bilingual (English & French) Field Service Engineer to join the Team. You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager, MEA and will be primarily responsible for providing engineering support throughout the West Africa Regions alongside the Sales and Application teams for both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial survey work to establish the unique customer site requirements when new application and equipment programs are considered.
- Develop proposals including budgets for client consideration.
- Assess the unique client site limitations and challenges and understand the quantitative reporting of the scope of work required for successful business application installation on site.
- Liaise with line manager and supply chain team for timely sourcing of all required products for successful implementation projects.
- Perform all scheduled service requirements at our various client sites on time.
- Work with sales team to develop strategies to secure, grow and ensure consistent sales growth at client sites.
- Ensure smooth communications with clients including inventory, testing and equipment.
- Submit performance reports to clients in the assigned format in a timely manner.
- Provide timely responses to requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory to ensure there is no shortage.
- Ensure all equipment are in working order on client sites.
- Collect and analyse samples of various process streams for reporting.
- Provide technical support to the operators of the various sites with facilities.
