Job Summary:
The Assistant Factory Head for Maintenance will support the Factory Head in overseeing the maintenance team’s activities, ensuring a high standard of preventive maintenance and efficient operation within the factory. This role requires strong technical knowledge, including proficiency in AutoCAD for factory layout updates and new project designs. Additionally, the Assistant Factory Head will utilize Word and Excel to track and report maintenance activities on daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual bases, providing ongoing support for the maintenance manager and team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AutoCAD Layout Design and Updates:
   
   
   • Utilize AutoCAD to create and update detailed factory layouts.
   
   
   • Design new layouts for upcoming projects, ensuring efficient space and resource utilization.
   
   
   • Maintain accurate and updated layout documentation for all areas of the factory.
   
   
   
   


2. Preventive Maintenance Support and Implementation:
   
   
   
   • Collaborate with the maintenance manager and technical team to develop and refine the preventive maintenance plan.
   
   
   • Actively participate in implementing preventive maintenance schedules across factory operations.
   
   
   • Conduct regular follow-up to ensure compliance with preventive maintenance requirements, addressing issues as they arise.
   
   
   
   


3. Documentation and Reporting:
   
   
   
   • Use Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities.
   
   
   • Prepare daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
   
   
   • Support the manager in preparing data-driven reports and presentations to optimize maintenance operations.
   
   
   
   


4. Technical Support and Coordination:
   
   
   
   • Assist the factory head and maintenance team in troubleshooting technical issues that arise during production.
   
   
   • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and protocols.
   
   
   • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of scheduled maintenance tasks.
