Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
2. Eight to ten (8-10) years of work experience as a human resource business partner, preferably in the FMCG sector.
3. Knowledge of contemporary HR principles and ability to coordinate HR daily activities.
4. Knowledge of Ghana Labor and employment laws, regulations and practices
5. Ability to plan, organize, co-ordinate, motivate and control
6. Proficient in MS Word, Spreadsheet, Database Software and E-mail
7. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
8. Good written and oral communication skills to prepare correspondence make recommendations and communicate effectively with employees and management.
9. Ability to drive with a valid driver’s license.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
11. Ability to handle change and adapt to evolving business needs with agility and positivity.
12. Capable of influencing and negotiating effectively with all stakeholders, driving positive outcomes.

Description
Our client, a leading multinational manufacturing company in Ghana is seeking to employ the service of an experience Human Resource Business Partner with 8 to 10 years experience to develop HR strategies and lead in the process of ensuring the availability of the requisite human resources with the appropriate skills, abilities and knowledge for the achievement of the goals and objective of the organization. Also to serve as liaison for all legal issues as well as ensuring all HR operations are carried out smoothly and effectively.
Candidate will be made to perform the duties as below:
- Provides strategic support for the development of HR policies across the Company ensuring the adoption of the best practices that promote equity and diversity.
- Leads industrial relations activities including union relations, staff welfare and safety
- Develops programs and initiatives that enhance staff commitment and improve the company as a place of work and provides matrices for their measurement
- Develops human resource operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
- Leads the selection, placement and retention processes for the right caliber of employees for the Company
- Complies with state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
- Liaises with PGH lawyer on legal matters and ensures the provision of all required and relevant documents/information for the pursuit of legal cases and the protection of PGH interest
- Oversee all HR initiatives and systems
- Supervises all HR activities pertaining to Compensation & Benefit; Payroll Administration, Leave Administration, Staff Welfare, Performance Management, Training & Development & Employee Relations
- Produces HR analysis reports on a regular basis, analyzing trends, interpreting and communicating same and making recommendations to the Managing Director
- Provides support to Management and staff through correspondence, reports and develop schedules to resolve various employee issues – welfare and benefits administration
- Oversees Health, Safety, Security and Environment
- Provides support for the Management for handling issues of staff discipline.
- Provides other ad hoc task as assigned by the Managing from time to time
