Aseda Mobility's General and Commercial Manager is responsible for leading the company's business development strategy to achieve sustained growth across its mobility services. This role involves identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, expanding the customer base, introducing innovative service offerings, and building long-term strategic partnerships that align with the company's commercial goals. The manager is expected to proactively position Aseda Mobility as a leading brand in transportation and smart mobility solutions, both locally and regionally.
The General/Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operational activities of the business.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement long-term strategies to grow the fleet business and market share.
Set performance targets and operational KPIs for all departments.
Lead expansion plans, including new service offerings, partnerships, or branch locations.
Fleet Operations Management
Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of vehicles.
Monitor fleet usage, downtime, fuel efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure timely servicing, repairs, insurance, and registration compliance.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage annual budgets and monthly performance reports.
Control operating costs, optimize resource allocation, and drive profitability.
Approve vendor contracts, pricing, and service terms.
Sales & Customer Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
Develop pricing strategies, service packages, and customer satisfaction programs.
Resolve escalated customer issues quickly and professionally.
Team Management
Lead and supervise department heads (e.g., operations, finance, HR, maintenance).
Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance to foster a high-performance culture.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and staff development.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with local transport regulations and safety standards.
Mitigate risks related to vehicle operations, driver conduct, and service delivery.
Implement security protocols for vehicles, clients, and drivers.
§ Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the directors of the business to promote the relevant values and profitability.
Strategic Growth & Service Expansion
· Lead the development and introduction of new mobility solutions, including ride-hailing, subscription models, EV integration, or logistics services.
· Oversee pilot programs and ensure successful scaling of new services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field. MBA is a plus.
Required Experience:
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in operations, fleet, or logistics management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of business growth and operational efficiency.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
