JOB PURPOSE:

The Operations Manager shall oversee the daily operations of the lounge to ensure smooth service delivery, exceptional guest experience, efficient staff performance, and adherence to operational standards.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Operations Management

• Oversee lounge operations from opening to closing to ensure seamless service.


• Ensure ambiance, cleanliness, music, lighting, and general environment meet brand standards.


• Monitor floor activities and resolve operational issues promptly.


• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and quality service.

 

Staff Supervision & Leadership

• Supervise the head chef, waiters, hostesses, shisha attendants, and janitors


• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and duty rosters.


• Conduct daily briefings to communicate expectations, promotions, and service standards.


• Identify training needs and recommend coaching, refresher training, or disciplinary action where necessary.


• Support the HR Manager in onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.

 

Customer Service & Experience

• Ensure guests receive exceptional, responsive, and courteous service.


• Handle elevated customer complaints or service gaps professionally.


• Monitor customer feedback and recommend improvements.

 

Inventory & Asset Management

• Oversee stock levels for consumables, cleaning materials, and equipment.


• Collaborate with procurement for replenishment and supplier follow-ups.


• Ensure proper handling of POS systems, sound systems, lighting equipment, and lounge assets

 

 

 Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all operational staff adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.


• Ensure staff compliance with company policies.

 

Reporting

• Prepare weekly operation reports.


• Maintain accurate records for stock, breakages, and maintenance needs.


• Coordinate with management on strategic planning and operational improvements.

 

Other Duties:

• Undertake any activity assigned by Management
