Job Title: Admissions Counselor

Reporting to: Admissions Manager

Position Summary:

The Admissions Counselor will serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and their families, guiding them through the admissions process. This role focuses on recruitment, student counseling, and managing relationships with high schools and other educational partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Recruitment and Counseling
   
   
   
   1. Serve as a primary contact for prospective students, providing accurate information about Academic City’s programs, scholarships, and admissions process.
   
   
   2. Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and parents to address their questions and concerns.
   
   
   
   

1. Outreach and Relationship Management
   
   
   
   1. Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, educational counselors, and community organizations.
   
   
   2. Participate in education fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events.
   
   
   
   

1. Application Support
   
   
   
   1. Guide prospective students through the application process, ensuring all documents are submitted on time.
   
   
   2. Coordinate with the admissions office in Ghana to facilitate the processing of applications.
   
   
   
   

1. Marketing and Communication
   
   
   
   1. Assist in the distribution of promotional materials and maintain a strong presence on digital platforms.
   
   
   2. Support the creation of localized marketing campaigns to engage the Nigerian audience.
   
   
   
   

1. Data Management and Reporting
   
   
   
   1. Maintain detailed records of student inquiries and applications using CRM systems.
   
   
   2. Prepare reports on recruitment activities and outcomes for the Admissions Manager.
   
   
   
   

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in admissions, student recruitment, or counseling, preferably in higher education.


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, or related fields.
