The Capital Group Limited invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Accounts Receivable Officer, to support effective financial control, revenue assurance, and compliance with organizational procedures in line with IFRS/IAS requirements.
Job Purpose The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for managing the organization’s receivables, ensuring timely billing, collections, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with approved financial procedures. The role supports process efficiency, risk control, and continual improvement within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and issue invoices in accordance with approved procedures and contractual terms
· Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and accurate balances
· Follow up on outstanding receivables and escalate overdue accounts in line with policy
· Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and resolve discrepancies promptly
· Maintain accurate and controlled financial records in line with document control requirements
· Support month-end reporting and audit reviews
· Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement within receivables management
· Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
· Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned
Qualification & Experience
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
· At least two (2) years relevant working experience in accounts receivable or finance operations
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles, receivables management, and internal controls
· Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
· High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
