Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support management with accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, hands-on experience with accounting software (especially Tally), and a solid background in tax and compliance. Experience within a manufacturing environment will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

-Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting entries using Tally and other accounting systems.

-Prepare, review, and finalize books of accounts in line with accounting standards.

-Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
-Perform bank and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis.

-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

-Ensure full compliance with GRA tax requirements, including preparation and timely filing of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.).

-Monitor and ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and internal financial policies.

-Support cost accounting and financial analysis, particularly for manufacturing operations.

-Assist during internal and external audits, providing required schedules and documentation.

-Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance financial controls and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

-Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACCA or ICAG Part 2 qualification (minimum requirement).

-At least 7 years’ relevant work experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

-Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial compliance.

-Proven experience in accounting, finance, and regulatory compliance.
