Ghana’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 is now 6,096, with 19 more persons recovering, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,773.
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) official website on the pandemic reported on Wednesday that the death toll remains 31 with activities and 4,292 active cases. The gender distribution of the total confirmed cases indicates that 61 per cent are males as compared to 39 per cent females.
The Regional statistics indicates that; Greater Accra still leads with 4,536 cases; Ashanti with 886, Central Region – 258, Western Region – 111 and Eastern – 100.
The others are the Western North – 57, Volta – 41, Northern – 31, Oti – 26, Upper East – 26, Upper West – 21, North East – two, and Bono – one.
Currently only three out of Ghana’s 16 regions, made up of Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East have not recorded any cases of COVID-19.
