Kumasi Asante Kotoko Head Coach Abdul Karim Zito has stated that Kotoko forward Albert Amoah deserves to be called to Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team-the Black Stars.
He said this in his post-game presser after Kotoko beat defending Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Gold Stars 2-0 in an outstanding league fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.
23 year old Amoah scored Kotoko’s second in the win by bending the ball into the net from the edge of the box. The goal is Amoah’s second three games into Kotoko’s 2025-2026 league campaign.
While praising his team for beating Gold Stars to maintain its unbeaten start to the season, Karim Zito talked about Amoah’s credentials to make the Black Stars. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“You saw what he did and you are called into the Black Stars based on performance and if it is performance, I think (Albert) Amoah is on top; he deserves at least to be called” Karim Zito said.
