The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Shai-Osudoku, Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, has urged the people of Shai-Osudoku to support President John Dramani Mahama's administration in delivering on his 2024 election promises and in resetting the country.
‘’Prior to the 2024 general election, the President, John Dramani Mahama, during his campaign tour across the country, pleaded with all Ghanaians to give him the nod as President to restore the country to its original state.
You listened to him and voted for him, resulting in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) coming into power.
“He has started his reset agenda and you can all bear testimony that he is keeping to his promise, and the development has started.
He only needs more of your support, likewise me, his representative in the Shai-Osudoku District’’, Mr Dordoe explained.
The DCE for Shai-Osudoku made the call when he paid a courtesy call on the Osudoku Traditional Council at Osuwem last Thursday.
The Shai-Osudoku District comprises two distinct traditional councils: the Shai Traditional and Osudoku Traditional councils.
The courtesy call, his first official visit since he assumed office as the DCE, aimed to formally introduce himself to the councils and encourage collaboration for the district's development.
Mr Dordoe highlighted several key areas, including accelerated infrastructure development, agricultural innovation, skills development, and job creation.
The DCE stated that the assembly would offer logistical support to the traditional council to strengthen traditional governance.
