The National Service Authority (NSA) has acknowledged challenges faced by some prospective national service personnel during the 2025/26 online registration process due to data mismatches.
In a statement signed by the Director-General, Ruth Dela Seddoh, the Authority identified incorrect dates of birth and names as the main causes of the setback, which prevented some applicants from completing their registration.
To address the issue, the NSA has directed that any prospective personnel whose details on their tertiary institution’s records do not match their Ghana Card must swear an affidavit, have it gazetted, and submit it through their school for correction.
Additionally, the statement noted that where an error originated from a tertiary institution, affected personnel should report it for rectification, after which the institution must communicate the corrected data to the NSA.
All corrected details are to be submitted via classlist@nss.gov.gh and copied to tweneboah.kodua@nss.gov.gh.
The Authority assured that it remains committed to ensuring all eligible graduates successfully register and undertake their national service, describing it as a vital contribution to national development.
