The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) recruitment exercise, which was advertised to the Public in August this year, has progressed to the next phase with the invitation of successful candidates for Body Selection, Document Assessment and Medical Screening.
The Body Selection will involve assessing the physical suitability of candidates, while the Documentation will involve physical inspection of Birth and Academic Certificates.
According to a press statement issued in Accra by the GIS, the Medical Examination for candidates who are successful in the Body Selection and Documentation will follow immediately.
Signed by Head of Public Relations of the GIS, Assistant Commissioner of Immigration (ACI), Michael Amoako-Attah, and the GIS disclosed that successful candidates would be required to bear the cost of the medical examination at venue that would be communicated to them when contacted.
Meanwhile, the GIS has cautioned the general public against making payment to persons or individuals demanding money under the guise of assisting them to be recruited.
