The final funeral rites for Ghanaian highlife legend Charles Kojo Fosu, affectionately known as Daddy Lumba, have been scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The beloved musician passed away on July 26, 2025, after a short illness, leaving behind an unmatched legacy in the Ghanaian music industry. His passing was met with an outpouring of grief from fans, colleagues, and industry players across the country and beyond.

A one-week observation ceremony was earlier held on August 30 at Independence Square in Accra, drawing thousands of mourners, including top government officials, musicians, and admirers who gathered to celebrate the life and impact of the highlife icon.
