Unilever Ghana has launched two new variants of its popular Pepsodent Kids toothpaste, designed to protect children's teeth from sugar acid attacks. The launch took place at the Around the World Food Festival in Accra, where several families gathered to celebrate.
According to Glenn Abraham Ampomah, Oral Care Innovations Lead at Unilever Ghana, the new Pepsodent Kids toothpaste formulation was specifically designed to protect children's teeth and gums from sugar acid attacks. The toothpaste also contains optimal levels of fluoride to support healthy tooth development.
The new toothpaste comes in two exciting flavors - orange and strawberry - designed to make brushing a fun experience for kids. Mr Ampomah emphasized that the toothpaste was widely available in stores, supermarkets, and pharmacies across the country, making it easily accessible to parents.
"We want to encourage parents to prioritize their children's oral health, especially during the festive season," he said. "Our new Pepkids toothpaste is the perfect solution, offering protection against sugar acid attacks and promoting healthy tooth development," Mr Ampomah added.
The launch of the new Pepsodent Kids toothpaste variant is part of Unilever Ghana's commitment to promoting oral health and hygiene among children. With its affordable price point and wide availability, the company aims to make a positive impact on the oral health of children across Ghana.
