MTN Ghana has inaugurated a customer service centre at Kaladan, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region.
The facility which is to satisfy their client base in Tamale comes with 12 tellers to attend to customers service, and with additional space for other staff to provide services to customers.
Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Shani Alhassan Shaibu, inaugurating the facility yesterday commended MTN Ghana for the wider coverage of good network in the region.
The minister added that, this would also go a long way to ease the traffic and congestion in the MTN main office in the region.
“The new customer service outlet would take away frustration of clients from the main office,” he stated.
He said the centre would enhance good customer care to the people of the Northern region.
The minister stated that MTN Ghana was a reliable mobile telephone service provider and the people would continue to feel the impact.
Alhaji Shaibu said MTN Ghana over the years had been supporting the region with infrastructure development in education, health, and women empowerment.
He, however, appealed to the company to give more opportunities to the region in areas where it deserves development
The minister also called on the management of MTN Ghana to extend and expand their services to areas in the region without network connection.
The Chief Sales and Distribution Officer of MTN Ghana, Mr Shaibu Haruna, said the new facility would help to resolve congestion challenges in the main office.
The MTN Ghana Boss said the facility was among four other customer centres across the country.
He stated that together with their key partners, the MTN Ghana was rolling out community shops where basic services would be offered to customers across the country.
