The DCE said the construction of roads had become one of the top priorities of the assembly because it would ease the difficulties facing teachers who commute to and from the district as well as drivers, who ply the roads, especially in the remotest parts of the district.
Mr Armah-Frempong commended the Ghana Cocoa Board for the construction of the road from Mankrong-Junction to Namawura, which also links Agona Duakwa to Akim Oda and the Agona Swedru main road to ease the transportation of goods and services to towns and cities.

Mr Armah-Frempong said education is the only panacea to eradicate poverty, adding that, it is the responsibility of the assembly to ensure that schools get structures that will help provide better environment for both the children and teachers to excel.
