The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has ordained a total of 19 reverend ministers in the Church at Agona Swedru.
The ordination was under the theme: "The relevance of God the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit".
Right Reverend Dr Yaw Frimpong-Manso, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church, in a sermon reminded the new ministers that they have a responsibility to lead society particularly men and women in to the Lord.
He asked them to selflessly contribute their quota to make the Presbyterian congregation a dynamic and Christ-like family of people living
all their lives for the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
"You have the task of bringing all members of your congregation into fellowship and helping to educate them to lead sound moral lives.".
Right Rev. Frimpong-Manso said the Church must nurture the youth into a vibrant constituent to begin to play their roles alongside the grown-ups.
He said ministers of God have the greatest challenge of campaigning against vices such as alcoholism, pre-marital sex, pornography, bad movies and portrayal of crimes and armed robbery in films and internet fraud to save the lives of the youth and vulnerable in society.
Right Rev. Frimpong-Manso charged the ministers saying "take time daily to read the scriptures devotionally for your own benefit with no thought of preaching or teaching in mind".
