Description
To lead and drive the company’s sales and marketing strategy, ensuring revenue growth, market expansion, and strong customer relationships while aligning with the company’s commercial objectives and operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts & Budget Management
- Deliver agreed commercial budgets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with top management to ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales and marketing strategies.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets (monthly and annual).
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports for management review and decision-making.
- Sales & Commercial Development
- Identify and pursue all viable commercial opportunities.
- Develop and negotiate new business with both existing and prospective clients.
- Drive business growth by identifying new markets, segments, and revenue streams.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to support strategic planning and competitive positioning.
- Relationship Management
- Build, manage, and retain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
- Maintain effective internal collaboration with all company departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
4. Commercial Intelligence & Market Insight
- Establish relationships with industry stakeholders and influencers to gather valuable market intelligence.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline with accurate and relevant data.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform business strategy.
5. Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure delivery of high-quality customer service across all client interactions.
- Promote a culture of service excellence within the organization.
6. Team Leadership & Personnel Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop the sales and marketing team.
- Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and performance standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Support recruitment, training, and succession planning initiatives.
- Foster a motivated and high-performing team environment.
7. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance
- Demonstrate strong leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Ghanaian legislation, permits, and industry standards.
- Promote a safe, environmentally responsible, and compliant working environment.
General Duties
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives, including participation in industry events, conferences, and seminars.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry bodies, trade associations, and professional networks.
- Uphold and promote the company’s corporate image, values, and ethical standards.
- Drive innovation, sustainability, and value engineering in service delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BSc/MSc) in Marketing or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience in Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC), construction, or related industries is highly preferred.

Compensation
- Salary Range: GHS 8,000 – GHS 12,000 (Net)
- Additional performance-based incentives may apply.
