Sales Manager - Wholesale
Job Purpose
To drive wholesale sales growth by developing and managing relationships with distributors, wholesalers and bulk buyers while ensuring the achievement of sales targets and market expansion.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement wholesale sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
Identify new wholesale markets, distributors, and business opportunities
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets for the wholesale channel
Build and maintain strong relationship with wholesalers, distributors and key accounts
Negotiate pricing, contracts and sales agreements with wholesale clients
Expand the company's wholesale customer base
Monitor and analyse wholesale sales performance against targets
Ensure sales targets and profitability objectives are met
Track competitor activities and market trends
Supervise and support wholesale sales representatives
Provide training and coaching to the sales team to improve performance
Monitor field activities and ensure proper execution of sales strategies
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
Ensure proper stock availability for wholesale customers
Monitor order processing and resolve distribution issues
Prepare regular sales reports and market analysis for management
Provide insights on customer preferences, pricing trends, and competitor activities
Recommend improvements in product offerings and pricing strategies
