Job Summary
As the Sales Manager you will oversee and drive the company’s sales strategies and operations to meet revenue targets and expand market share. Your primary role will involve developing and managing client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and leading a high-performing sales team. You will play a critical role in executing sales initiatives that align with the company’s mission of delivering outstanding procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive activities to inform sales plans.
- Create detailed sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.
2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Identify potential clients and new business opportunities in the procurement sector.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary contact for key accounts, handling negotiations and high-value contracts.
3. Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, train, and manage a results-driven sales team.
- Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the sales department.
4. Market Research and Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and untapped opportunities.
- Collaborate with the business development team to explore partnerships and new markets.
- Stay informed about industry developments and use insights to refine sales approaches.
5. Sales Operations and Reporting
- Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring processes are efficient and effective.
- Track sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare detailed sales performance reports and present findings to senior leadership.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and marketing teams to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Provide feedback to product and service teams to align offerings with market demands.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
7. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor contract terms and conditions to minimize risks to the organization.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.
8. Innovation and Technology Integration
- Leverage sales and CRM tools to optimize processes and track client interactions.
