The Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day production activities within the cereals and food processing facility. The role ensures efficient operations, quality output, adherence to food safety standards, and timely achievement of production targets. The position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

• Supervise daily production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.


• Ensure production targets, schedules, and KPIs are met consistently.


• Monitor machine performance, material usage, batching, and packaging processes.


• Ensure proper documentation of production data (batch sheets, downtime, waste, yields, etc.).


• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure prompt repairs.

• Enforce all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and food safety standards.


• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the production floor at all times.


• Monitor quality checks at each stage of processing (sorting, cleaning, milling, roasting, mixing, packaging).


• Report and address any deviations, contamination risks, or non-conformities.

• Supervise production staff, assign duties, schedule shifts, and manage attendance.


• Conduct daily briefing sessions and communicate production goals.


• Train staff on operations, safety, hygiene, and quality protocols.


• Enforce discipline, productivity, and adherence to safety regulations.
