JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SALES AND HEALTH SERVICE COORDINATOR -WA REGION
Project Brief: To work on the KOKO Plus Project, an Infant Nutrition Improvement Project by developing and commercializing nutritional food supplement rich in vitamins and minerals for babies from 6 months to 24 months to enrich babies’ food.
Role Title /Reporting Line: Territory Sales and Health Service Coordinator – Reporting directly to both Sales and SBCC (Social and Behavioral Change Communication) Manager
Job Purpose: Responsible for driving sales and SBCC activities in mapped out territory/communities by building up relevant network with retail outlets and health facilities for the purposes of educating mothers/nurses on the benefits of the product as well as achieve sales targets.

Must be able to drive/ ride motorcycle and possess a Valid Driver’s License (@ least Class C).

Multi –lingual in at least 2 local dialects including Twi
•
Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
SALES ROLE:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Sales Management:
•
Deliver Sales & Operations targets for your assigned territory through regular reviews and appropriate action plans.
•
Ensure KKP is available within the immediate radius of all health facilities in all regions of operation.
•
Ensure you prioritize your routes to include a minimum of a visit per month to districts where GHS collaboration activity has been held
•
Ensure the usage of the Senri app for all your field activities
Channel Management Distribution:
•
Actively drive the recruitment of key Distributors across the region(s) and create a strong channel distribution for KKP
•
Attraction and selection of Retailers across all identified retailer segments.
•
Manage and maintain positive Retailer relationships, supporting Retailers to actively promote KOKO Plus to achieve and maintain sales targets.
•
Ensure adequate stock provision across all distribution channels in the region and at the right price
•
To oversee the sale of KOKO Plus in assigned Region(s).
•
Design, manage and implement sales strategies and an annual sales plan broken down into monthly targets.
•
Make sales calls with the objective of expanding sales outlets, and continuous repurchase of KOKO Plus by these outlets
•
To deal with sales issues in a professional manner.
•
Track daily sales performance and report to management on regional performance
•
Ensure sales proceeds are lodged in the bank daily
•
Ensure products are fully accounted for and reconciliations done as per the reporting format
Product & Brand promotion
•
Ensure deployment of all merchandizing materials within assigned territories/districts across the region(s) and engineered preferential display in outlets for continuous repurchase of KOKO Plus from the market.
•
Coordinate with the marketing and promotions team to ensure KOKO Plus receives efficient marketing support.
Relationship Building
•
Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with wholesale Distributor(s) and retail segments
•
Resolve customer complaints on KOKO Plus
•
Build key relationship and liaise with relevant authorities in region(s) including Health workers, Ghana Health Service officials, District officers, Local authorities etc for the promotion of KKP in assigned region(s)
Reporting & Others
•
Submission of sales report and field intelligence report to supervisor per agreed timelines
•
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor
HEALTH SERVICE COORDINATOR ROLE:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Project implementation:
•
Seek permission and get all required approvals from In- Charge GHS officials and arrange the orientation for nurses to start the project.
•
Arrange the schedule and the venue of the orientation and prepare a budget for approvals.
•
Undertake presentation/training for the orientation. (Include tasting and sampling)
•
Prepare questionnaire to engage Nurses and seek their cooperation of how to promote KKP to consumers.
•
Supply educational tools and KKP Polo-shirts for Nurses
•
Make payments and reconcile for all orientations.
Monitoring:
•
Maintain effective monitoring of shops around health facilities to ensure adequate stock and product distribution
•
Make an itinerary of monitoring and submit daily monitoring reports to Supervisor.
•
Visit health facilities and check usage of new educational tools and nurse’s activities.
•
Strengthen relationship with nurses through communication and Give advice to nurses to improve the activities.
•
Check KKP stock of the shops around health facilities for KKP stock and alert Sales Rep of low stocks
Education to nurses:
•
Keep educating and motivating nurses through continuous communication with them and share your contact for reach.
•
Collate and build up database of Nurses engaged.
•
Share KKP Facebook page and post with Nurses.
•
Update and share project activities on project’s official social media pages.
Others:
•
Submit report of activities to supervisor per agreed timelines-; as well as gather and report consumer intelligence to Supervisor.
•
To deal with all consumers related issues in a professional manner.
•
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor
