Description
- Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
- Help chefs and cooks with meal preparation and cooking tasks when required.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.
- Receive, check, and properly store food supplies and ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Dispose of waste and maintain proper waste management procedures.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Assist in serving food and clearing kitchen or dining areas when needed.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and report any faults.
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure smooth operations.
