 Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Large Format Printer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining large format printing equipment to produce high-quality prints for a variety of applications, including banners, signs, and promotional materials. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques, along with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Printing Operations: Operate and maintain large format printers, including setting up files for print, selecting appropriate media, and ensuring proper color calibration and consistency.

 

Quality Control: Monitor print quality during production and make necessary adjustments to ensure finished products meet company standards and client specifications.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs or technical support as needed.

File Preparation: Prepare print-ready files using design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar) and ensure all files are optimized for large format

printing.

Material Handling: Manage inventory of printing materials, including vinyl, paper, and ink, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained.

Finishing Techniques: Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, mounting, laminating, and packaging finished products for delivery.

Collaboration: Work closely with the design team and project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.

Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the production area, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
