As part of its continued growth and commitment to delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions, the organization is seeking a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to support business development and client engagement initiatives. The role plays a strategic part in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise throughout the sales and solution development lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, sales teams, and technology partners to understand business and security requirements, design tailored cybersecurity solutions, and support the successful positioning and closure of opportunities. The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks, emerging cybersecurity trends, and solution architecture, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE
- CISSP, CISM, or CISA
- Vendor certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft Security, CyberArk)
- Cloud security certifications (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Presales & Solution Design
• Engage customers to understand business, regulatory, and security requirements
• Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions aligned to industry best practices (Zero Trust, SOC, PAM, SIEM, etc.)
• Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, and Bill of Quantities (BoQ)
• Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept (PoCs)
Sales Enablement & Deal Support
• Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities and define winning strategies
• Support RFP/RFI/RFQ responses with strong technical and commercial alignment
• Articulate value propositions, ROI, and risk mitigation benefits to C-level stakeholders
• Contribute to pipeline development and opportunity conversion
Customer Engagement
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, workshops, and advisory sessions
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs, and IT leadership
• Translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant outcomes
OEM & Partner Management
• Work closely with to design competitive solutions
• Stay updated on product roadmaps, certifications, and pricing models
• Drive joint customer engagements and technical workshops
Technical Thought Leadership
• Support go-to-market initiatives, cybersecurity roadshows, and events
• Contribute to solution playbooks and reusable architectures
• Keep abreast of evolving threats, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies
Technical Knowledge Requirements
• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) frameworks, including regulatory and security best practices
• Knowledge of Network, Cloud, and Infrastructure Security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, hybrid cloud environments, and cloud-native security controls
• Experience with Security Operations technologies and frameworks such as SIEM, SOAR, SOC operations, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with Endpoint, Application, and Data Security solutions, including endpoint protection, application security, encryption, and data loss prevention (DLP) technologies
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture, enterprise IT infrastructure, and emerging cyber threats, with the ability to align security solutions to business and operational requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- 5–8+ years in cybersecurity presales or solution engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and security frameworks
- Experience supporting large enterprise or financial services clients
- Strong solution architecture and design capability
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial awareness and deal-closing mindset
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
