• Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation.


• Initiate and conduct toolbox meetings on site with workers and sub coordinators.


• Making site inspections throughout the day at regular intervals, conducting risk assessment and enforce preventative measures


• Instruct workers in the proper use of protective clothing and safety devices and conduct routine tests on equipment.


• Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency


• situations.


• Drawing-up safe operational procedures on site.


• Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP).


• Certify scaffolds, tresses, suspended platform before use with help of subordinate.


• Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
