Job Summary:
MYTH House is looking to employ a Production Manager to oversee the production of the luxury fashion accessories that our fashion brand is known for, including bags and belts made from metal mesh and other materials. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and will be able to lead a team of skilled artisans, as well as demonstrate a high level of accountability to the management. A background in metal work production will be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily production of metal mesh accessories, ensuring that production targets are met, and quality standards are maintained.
• Plan and schedule production processes and equipment maintenance to ensure maximum productivity.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials, ensuring that adequate supplies are available to meet production targets.
• Monitor production costs and identify ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and implement production processes and procedures to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Develop project reports and reports on production processes and procedures, as well as reports on issues presented in the course of carrying out responsibilities.
• Train and supervise production staff, including artisans, quality control inspectors, and production assistants.
• Ensure that all production staff follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that new product designs are producible, and the production team has the necessary equipment, tools, and training to produce them.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
• Keep record of product movement or sale from factory office.
• Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that production schedules meet customer demand and production timelines are communicated effectively.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production, preferably in the fashion industry
• Understanding of metalworking processes, including casting, stamping, forging, and finishing
• Proven experience in managing production teams and developing production processes and procedures
• Familiarity with inventory management, procurement, and cost control procedures
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to contribute and improve policies to ensure quality control as well as health and safety.
