EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant sales experience within the mining, geotechnical, heavy equipment, or engineering technology sectors.
• Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and data reporting tools.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Familiarity with mining operations and geotechnical monitoring technologies is highly advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within West Africa and internationally as needed
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French or other regional languages is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to secure high-value deals and penetrate new markets.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.

Description
Our client, a leading company in mining and geotechnical technology, is looking for an experienced and goal-oriented SALES MANAGER to lead its sales activities.
ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong client relationships across the region. The role requires a strategic thinker with experience in technical sales and business development, particularly in the mining or geotechnical field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.
- Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities through direct engagement and collaboration with internal teams.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and after-sales support.
- Monitor performance against sales forecasts and budgets, and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Provide timely market insights and competitive intelligence to support product development and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute promotional campaigns, attend industry events, and increase brand visibility.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and pipeline activity using Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools.
- Liaise with the Finance team to manage receivables and ensure timely payment cycles.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, QHSE standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
