A company representing manufacturers of municipal solid waste haulage and recycling equipment has a Vacancy for a Service Electrical Technician position. The candidate will inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, instrumentation, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of the Parent Company’s proprietary Machines.

1. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance i.e. inspect switch gear, inspect sensors, inspect PLC systems, oil changes, belt checks, hydraulic systems checks, pneumatic system checks, fuel systems checks, engine checks, inspect wear and tear parts etc;


2. Trouble shoot, perform root cause analysis, and repair electro-mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and instrumentation components of machines;


3. Programming of PLC, remote controls and frequency converters;


4. Spare parts handling;


5. Send service maintenance reports to Head office;
