A leading Ghanaian-owned company specializing in the production of fish feed and animal feeds is seeking a Factory Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our factory operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of factory machinery and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.

  Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to detect potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs aimed at reducing downtime, lowering operational costs, and improving overall production efficiency.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with factory management to uphold a safe, clean, and compliant working environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Train and guide support personnel on safe operation of equipment, maintenance procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of safety and accountability.

  Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute technical expertise to enhance operational efficiency.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  
  


• 
  

  3–5 years’ experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in animal feed or food production.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and collaborate with team members.
