Job Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of the logistics and moving company. This role involves managing staff, optimizing processes, ensuring timely service delivery, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, and fostering excellent customer relationships. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all moving and logistics operations are efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily logistics and moving operations.


• Ensure timely and accurate scheduling of moving jobs and deliveries.


• Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Conduct performance reviews and recommend training needs.


• Enforce health and safety standards for all operational teams.

• Coordinate with the sales team to understand client requirements and deliver on service agreements.

• Optimize routes and schedules for cost savings and timely deliveries.


• Maintain inventory of packing materials and moving supplies.

• Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for favorable terms.
