We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. 

• JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly in accordance to company's standards 

 

• PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. To oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.


2. To plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock.


3. To manages the overall operation and ensures the safe and effective storage and distribution of customer goods on time and without damage.


4. To develops and implements both short- and long-term warehouse planning.


5. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.


6. overseeing stock control and processing of orders


7. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.


8. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.


9. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.


10. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


11. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.


12. Accomplishes warehouse operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.


13. Producing periodic performance report and statistics and daily, weekly and monthly basis.

 

KEY RESULTS AREAS

• Low TAT for truck loading


• Meeting Daily production target

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.


2. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager


3. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices


4. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives


5. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


6. Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases


7. Leadership skills and ability to manage staff


8. Strong decision making and problem solving skills


9. Excellent communication skills
