Qualifications & Skills: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. 6-8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role preferably in a mining company or with a mining contractor or mine service provider. 3. Strong understanding of international shipping, freight negotiations, and customs processes. 4. Experience working with West African logistics networks and import/export regulations is a must 5. Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or logistics software is an advantage. 6. Should be methodical, capable to Plan, coordinate with multiple sources, service providers, stickler to timeline, disciplined approach to work & a result oriented personnel. 7. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics & Expediting Officer to join our team. This role will ensure smooth coordination between our production facilities, suppliers, and customers, optimizing the entire supply chain to meet delivery timelines and cost targets.

Location: Accra, Ghana
Industry: Mining, Mining Support Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with the factory to track production availability dates and push for timely readiness of supplies.
• Allocate ready products to customers efficiently, based on priority and delivery timelines.
• Ensure that all shipments are dispatched on schedule and tracked till final delivery.
• Obtain and negotiate freight quotes, selecting cost-effective and reliable logistics partners.
• Optimize shipping and logistics costs while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.
• Coordinate the organization of supplies from company's warehouse, ensuring prompt dispatch based on customer orders.
• Ensure smooth handling of consignments and proactively address any potential issues at destination ports or during transit.
• Ensure compliance with all logistics and import guidelines of the customer and respective importing countries.
• Maintain clear records, documentation, and regular communication with internal departments and external partners.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements in logistics and expediting processes.
