Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or any Finance related course
• Relevant Professional qualifications e.g. CA, ACCA,or IFA
• Between 8 to 10 years post qualification working experience with at least in a Finance role in a corporate organisation
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Knowledge of IFRS and local tax legislation knowledge
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis

Description
Financial Management/Analysis
Responsible for the finalisation of Audited Financial Statements in line with IFRS and FRC requirements as well as coordination with external auditors
Primarily responsible for Account management
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (MIS, P&L & SOFP).
- Ensure timely closure of books for month end reporting across all regions (Nigeria, Ghana & East Africa).
- Attend to all audit requests in relation to Journals, Trail balance and Schedules (Nigeria, Ghana & East Africa) in connection with the local team.
- Preparation of SOFP (Balance Sheet) across the regions.
- Handles all local statutory audits and ensures closure.
- Management of charts of accounts for Inlaks across the regions
- Attend to internal audit exercise for Ghana and ensure timely completion of internal audit and closure of identified gaps.
- Ensure all local adjusting entries are passed regularly on ERP.
- Confirm the accuracy of payroll including deductions and ensure its payment on due date
- Ensure effective utilization of ERP wherever applicable to meet business needs.
- Manage & Coordinates statutory audit exercise for all the regions (Nigeria, Ghana & East Africa).
- Ensure all audit journals and adjustments are correctly and timely passed.
- Assist with compliance to all local statutory and regulatory matters
- Regular review of GLs and ensure all entries passed are correct
Tax Administration
- Maintain and regularly update Withholding Tax deduction registers and ensure compliance with, and preparation of all statutory returns, schedules of output VAT and WHT deduction by clients and follow up on collection of credit notes on same
- Keep abreast of developments and implement best practices; build upon existing knowledge, methods and systems
Payroll Administration
- Manage the entire payroll process of the company including seamless computation of staff salary in line with the existing regulation
Internal Audit
- Coordinate internal audit operations for ICOM across all regions.
- Interfacing with the Internal Auditors and the respective departments to ensure internal audit requests are provided.
- Tracking and ensuring closure of internal audit observations/queries within the agreed time frame.
- Zoho Books Implementation

- Monitor and ensure strict compliance with the established controls, policy and procedures.
Budget Management
- Ensure approved capital expenditure budgets are adhered to at all times. Implement, direct, and evaluate performance of the operating budget periodically to ensure it is consistently profitable and advice the management monthly
- Support the management in the preparation of budgets and financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets and forecasts for future business growth.
- Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry
