Description
The HR Specialist will support the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Address employee questions related to benefits and assist with enrollment and claims.
- Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
- Training and Development:
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training sessions for employees.
- Support career development initiatives and performance management processes.
- HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, employee surveys, and organizational development.
- Provide administrative support for HR programs and initiatives as needed.
