Job Purpose
The HR Officer provides comprehensive support to the HR function, focusing on recruitment, employee onboarding, training and development, and overall HR administration. This role ensures the efficient implementation of HR policies and practices while maintaining accurate employee records and supporting organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Develop multiple recruitment channels to source potential staff based on company needs.
Create and maintain a database of sourcing channels and a talent pool aligned with organizational needs.
Screen job applicants to assess their suitability for roles.
Conduct background checks on shortlisted candidates.
2. Onboarding and Induction
Assist in the documentation and completion of all new hires.
Verify new hires have the required regulatory certifications.
Arrange and organize HR induction/orientation programs for new employees.
Ensure new hires are properly trained and integrated into their respective departments.
3. Employee Records and Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Prepare and manage HR-related documents, such as contracts and performance assessment reports.
Maintain a comprehensive database of staff attendance and leave records.
4. Performance Management Support
Collate and manage data for employee performance assessments.
Assist in the implementation of performance evaluation processes.
5. Training and Development
Assist to conduct training needs assessments to identify skill and competency gaps.
Assist to develop and maintain training manuals and materials.
Plan, organize, and facilitate training programs to address identified needs.
6. Mystery Shopping Program
Deploy and manage the mystery shopping program.
Analyze data collected from mystery shopping activities to generate actionable insights for business improvement.
7. General HR Support
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and policies.
