Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• A master’s degree in human resources management or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Must be a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana (CIHRM), or a related professional body.
• Proven experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically within an Interconnect Clearing House (ICH) environment, is highly desirable.
• Strong experience in payroll management, with proficiency in using Persol payroll software.
Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets and analyze HR metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Description
HR Leadership and Management
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR and Admin team, including 2 HR officers and 3 drivers.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to HR and administration.
Performance Management
- Oversee the performance management process across the organization, ensuring fair and effective evaluations.
- Work with department heads to set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Implement improvement plans and initiatives to enhance employee performance and productivity.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective employee engagement initiatives and communication strategies.
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement programs that align with the company’s values and culture.
Compensation, Rewards, and Benefits
- Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Manage employee compensation programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives.
- Ensure the company’s reward and recognition programs are aligned with employee performance and organizational goals.
Organizational Development and Learning
- Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance the company’s structure, processes, and culture.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of learning and development programs to support employee growth and career progression.
- Identify and address skills gaps within the organization through targeted training and development efforts.
Talent Management and Succession Planning
- Develop and manage talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Implement succession planning processes to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for key positions.
- Work closely with leadership to identify high-potential employees and create development plans to prepare them for future roles.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new employees, facilitating their integration into the company.
Payroll Management
- Oversee the payroll process using Persol payroll software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including deductions, taxes, and statutory payments.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the HR Admin budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and control expenditures within the budget to optimize resource allocation.
- Provide regular budget reports and analyses to senior management.
Vehicle and Office Management
- Oversee the management and maintenance of company vehicles and office facilities.
- Ensure that all vehicles and office equipment are maintained in good working condition and comply with safety standards.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to ensure a smooth operation of the office environment.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with the Ghana labour law, Income tax law and company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare and present HR reports to senior management, including headcount, turnover, and training metrics.
- Ensure accurate tracking of leave balances and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage leave requests and approvals, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with department heads to identify HR needs and provide appropriate support.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
