JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources and Administration Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s human capital, ensuring efficient recruitment and staff management, and overseeing administrative operations. The role will involve developing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting strategic decisions related to staffing, training, performance management, and compensation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and oversee the recruitment process to ensure timely and effective hiring.
- Review and finalize job advertisements prior to posting.
- Screen CVs, conduct telephone screenings, coordinate interview panels, and participate in candidate interviews.
- Ensure all recruitment documentation is collected, recorded, and filed.
- Lead the implementation of HR and administrative policies, including the organization’s Code of Conduct.
- Review and update the Personnel Handbook in line with local labour laws and organizational needs.
- Ensure organizational compliance with Ghanaian labour laws and internal policies.
- Monitor compensation structures, ensuring internal equity, competitiveness, and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee administration of employee benefits.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager and Executive Director to prepare monthly payroll.
- Facilitate job analysis and ensure all job descriptions are current and accurate.
- Evaluate staffing needs and advise the Executive Director on appropriate levels.
- Coordinate and implement mid-year and annual staff performance reviews.
- Identify training and development needs and make recommendations for employee growth.
- Support budget preparation by providing HR-related input.
- Oversee administrative systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Provide HR and administrative advice to senior management to support organizational goals.
