A budget hotel is inviting applications for the position of a Hotel Receptionist.
Candidates for this position must possess a warm, welcoming personality, a superb command over the English language and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of grooming are required for this position.
The potential employee’s responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all guest details are accurately recorded in GRA issued invoices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for guest requests.
Process guest payments and handle cash transactions.
Coordinate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and up to standard before guest arrival.
Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to Management when necessary.
Ensure the lobby and reception area remain clean, organized and welcoming at all times.
Preparing and submitting daily financial reports to the accounts department.
Qualifications:
WASSCE
Minimum of 2 years experience in a front desk or customer service role (hotel experience is highly preferred).
